AVAILABLE KAYAK AND CANOE TRIPS

• Conemaugh Dam to Saltsburg
  The area's most popular trip is a 7.5 mile float from the Conemaugh Dam back to historic Saltsburg. Paddlers park their car at our location in Saltsburg and are shuttled to the launch site just below the Conemaugh Dam. From there, paddlers will float back to our riverside location.

Boat Shuttle Cost

• Saltsburg to Apollo - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
  A beautiful and scenic 12 mile trip down the Kiskiminetas River that lasts approximately 5 to 5.5 hours. If you are renting a boat, you will launch from Saltsburg and we will pick you up at Roaring Run Trailhead and return you to your car. If you have your own boat, we can pick you up in Apollo at the Roaring Run Trailhead at 8 am sharp.

This trip is currently available on weekends only and is dependent upon water levels.

Boat Shuttle Cost

$30 per boat + tax 
     Early morning pickup in Apollo - Pickup at 8 am sharp.

SALTSBURG TO AVONMORE
(weekends only)

A beautiful and scenic 4.5 mile trip from the Conemaugh Damn to the Kiskiminetas River that lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. If you are renting a boat, you will launch from Saltsburg and we will pick you up in Avonmore and return you to your car.

AVONMORE TO ROARING RUN
(Apollo - weekends only)

A beautiful and scenic 7.5 mile trip down the Kiskiminetas River that lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. If you are renting a boat, we will take you to your launch point, then we will pick you up at Roaring Run Trailhead and return you to your car.

CONVENIENT LOCATION

We're the only kayak and canoe outfitter located in Saltsburg. Our free riverside parking means that when your trip is done, you're free to go. There's no waiting around for a shuttle back to your car. 

THE BEST BOATS

It's hard to beat a day spent on the river, but floating downstream in an uncomfortable boat can make things tedious. This is why we stock only the best boats. Our 10-foot kayaks are comfortable and stable - perfect for skilled paddlers and first-timers. Our 12-foot kayaks are the right size for larger paddlers, and our tandems make a perfect alternative to a canoe. If you prefer a traditional canoeing experience, our 16-foot canoes are a great option for 2 or 3 people to float together.
